Mrs. Armstrong graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She has received advanced training in dysphagia therapy, and is certified in both VitalStim and Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation (DPNS). Mrs. Armstrong has also received additional training in the treatment of facial muscle weakness, including the Facial Muscle Exercise Program(FMEP). Mrs. Armstrong has focused her practice in both skilled rehab and long-term care settings, specializing in providing care to the geriatric population. |
